Microblading
What is Microblading?

There are many other names or terms associated with Microblading: eyebrow embroidery, 3D eyebrows, eyebrow tattoo or eyebrow tattooing and even cosmetic eyebrow tattooing. One description it is definitely not is a permanent eyebrow tattoo. Microblading is semi-permanent eyebrow tattoos or eyebrow enhancement. This is a hair stroke eyebrow tattoo that emulates the look of real hair.

Microblading is the most natural looking eyebrow tattoo. Traditionally a solid eyebrow was applied using a tatooing machine creating an unnatural appearance. Microblading has rendered this technique obsolete. Microblading is a hand tattooing technique using the same principle of tattooing used in ancient times. Pigments, not inks are used in the process of Microblading. The Microblading procedure requires a great amount of practice and patience to master but creates a far superior result compared to traditional permanent brows.

It is true that Microblading is a semi-permanent brow tattoo and needs to be refreshed every 1 to 1-1/2 years. Every Microblading artist has a different style and technique. My technique is primarily very natural strokes always with the direction of your hair growth pattern in mind. Every Microblading result is unique to the client, these are custom brows.

Microblading originated in Asia and moved to Russia, then made it's way to the US. It's fairly new here and not going away anytime soon.

Microblading is not suited to every skin type. Skin that is thin, very thin, or naturally oily does not produce a pleasing result. For these skin types I recommend Stardust Brows, also known as Powder Brows
